Bulk and Net Fare Tickets and Bulk Fare Ticketing Policy

Bulk Fare Tickets (BT)

Bulk fare tickets are private fares associated with a specialty sales program (such as a tour operator or leisure program) and a ticket designator assigned under such specialty sales program.  To avoid confusion please note, private fares associated with a Corporate Sales Agreement (or similar agreement) are not considered bulk fare tickets.

Itinerary and ticket changes

All voluntary changes prior to the originating flight segment for a BT must be handled by the original issuing agency.

Net Fare Tickets (NT)

Net fare tickets are commission-based incentives off a published fare.

Itinerary and ticket changes

All voluntary changes prior to the originating flight segment for a NT must be handled by the original issuing agency.

Bulk Fare Ticketing Policy

Tickets issued on Delta’s 006 ticket stock as a bulk fare with no associated program and approved ticket designator will be subject to a debit memo in the amount of USD $75.00 per ticket issued.

Bulk ticketing is defined as zone, flat rate or volume based private fares associated with a specialty sales program and ticket designator assigned under such specialty sales program. The use of bulk ticketing is prohibited on published fares or private fares (e.g., corporate negotiated fares) not associated with a specialty sales program and ticket designator assigned under such specialty sales program that specifically states bulk ticketing is allowed.

Ticketing agencies will be held responsible for tickets issued in violation of this policy made by agents, employees, sub-agents, or outside agents working through the ticketing agency.

Delta reserves the right to take any and all appropriate actions in the event a violation of this policy occurs, including without limitation (i) the issuance of debit memos and/or (ii) termination of the agency’s authority to issue Delta travel documents.
