Delta Comfort+ Switches from Premium Economy to Economy Shelf for Latin Markets
As part of the ongoing effort to more consistently and transparently display fare choices, Delta Comfort+ will shift from the Premium Economy shelf to the Economy shelf for Latin itineraries, except routes between the U.S./Canada and SJU, STT and STX. This change is effective July 2, 2019, applies to Delta marketed flights in the region, and follows the shift of Delta Comfort+ to the Economy shelf in Transatlantic and Transpacific markets in 2018.
What does this mean for Travel Agencies?
Delta is shifting Delta Comfort+ to the Economy ‘shelf’ for all third-party channels (e.g. GDS and OBTs) as part of the process to better align how our products are displayed across all international regions, making it easier for Travel Agencies to recognize and sell the products.
