Air France and KLM's Business Solutions Agent Portal Launches Feb. 1

On Feb. 1, 2023, Air France and KLM launch their new Business Solutions agent portal that replaces AgentConnect.biz worldwide.

It provides travel professionals with an enhanced user experience and quick access to news, procedures, policies and other information without a log-in. Secured tools continue to be behind a login for legal and security reasons, and current AgentConnect passwords will work.

KLM continues to roll out its new Premium Comfort Class to more destinations.

The new cabin class debuted on the New York-JFK to Amsterdam route in August and has since expanded to select flights from/to Atlanta; Kiliminjaro, Tanzania; Los Angeles; Panama City, Panama and Toronto. By January 2024, Premium Comfort Class will be available on all of KLM's Boeing 777 and 787 aircraft flying to intercontinental destinations. Learn more.

Korean Air Named a Top 10 Airline in Skytrax World Airline Awards

Korean Air ranked ninth in the 2022 World Airline Awards hosted by Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization based in the United Kingdom. The airline's ranking jumped significantly from 22nd to ninth this year.  

Korean Air continues to be recognized worldwide for its strong performance throughout the pandemic and efforts to enhance customer service. In addition to being named Air Transport World’s 2021 Airline of the Year and 2022 Cargo Operator of the Year, the airline received a Skytrax 5-star COVID safety rating and a 5-star global airline rating by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). Learn more.

Virgin Atlantic Continues U.S. Expansion with Service to Tampa, Florida

Virgin Atlantic continues its trans-Atlantic expansion with a new direct route from London Heathrow to Tampa, operated on their newest A330neos.

The new year-round Florida service will initially fly four times a week before increasing to daily starting Nov. 28, complementing the airline's up to four daily flying to Orlando and twice daily flying to Miami. This latest addition follows the airline's launch of direct flights between London and Austin, Texas in May 2022. Learn more.

Delta and Aeromexico Connect Monterrey to the U.S.

Starting Dec. 15, 2022, Delta and Aeromexico customers will be able to connect to Bajio and Queretaro, Mexico from Los Angeles and Detroit via Monterrey, Mexico, adding Guadalajara and San Luis Potosi in January 2023.

As a result, Monterrey will become a key hub for national and international economic growth, helping to develop both business and tourism. Learn more.

LATAM, Delta Announce Nonstop Service between São Paulo and LAX as JV’s First New Market

The first operational announcement after receiving the approval of the Joint Venture between LATAM Airlines Group and Delta Air Lines in September was made on Nov. 23, 2022. LATAM announced the launch of a new service between São Paulo and Los Angeles beginning July 1, 2023. Learn more.
