Delta shares update, extends waiver on TLV flights
Delta is continuously monitoring the security environment in Israel to inform cancelations to our Tel Aviv flight schedule. Our hearts are with all who are impacted as our people work to find safe alternatives for customers trying to travel to/from Tel Aviv. As of Oct. 11, the following actions are in progress:
WAIVER EXTENSION AND REFUNDS
We have extended our waiver for all customers currently booked to/from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) so they can rebook their travel on available flights through Sept. 6, 2024. The waiver also allows these customers to process their own refunds via the Fly Delta app, delta.com or by calling Delta Reservations for refund support.
CUSTOMER CANCELATION NOTIFICATIONS
Delta is canceling all our TLV flights through Oct. 31. Customers will receive notifications as cancelations are processed via the Fly Delta app and contact information listed in their reservation.
BOOKING TRAVEL BETWEEN U.S. AND TLV FOR NOV. 1 AND BEYOND
While booking is suspended for TLV flights to/from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), customers can make reservations on flights between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and TLV for travel Nov. 1 and beyond. Seats on Delta partner airlines remain bookable on Delta.com and Delta Reservations when available.
ONGOING ASSESSMENTS
Delta people are keeping those impacted top of mind as we continuously monitor the rapidly evolving security environment and assess our operations based on security guidance and intelligence reports, including the most recent U.S. Department of State travel advisory. We will continue making schedule adjustments, including additional cancelations on a rolling basis, as needed for the safety of our customers and crew while remaining committed to assisting those needing travel.
