AIR FRANCE

Air France offers Special Flights between LAX & JFK to French Riviera

Air France, as official partner of the Cannes Film Festival, will operate special non-stop flights on the 15th, 22nd and 29th of May 2023 between Los Angeles and Nice on the French Riviera. The flights will be operated by Airbus A350-900 equipped with 34 Business flat-beds, 24 in a dedicated Premium Economy, and 266 in Economy with in-seat power. Throughout the summer season, Air France will operate up to 26 weekly flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Los Angeles with convenient connections to over 60 cities across France and Europe.

Air France will also operate 4 special non-stop flights between New York JFK and Nice on the occasion of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, taking place between June 19 and 23, 2023. These special flights will be operated by Boeing 777-300 ER fitted with Air France’s new long haul cabins, with departures from New York on June 17 and 18, 2023, and return flights from Nice on June 23 and 24, 2023.

The operations are in direct response to high demand from our customers working in the entertainment, production and creative industries.

Introducing KLM Premium Comfort Class

KLM has been progressively rolling out their newest travel class, Premium Comfort, on more flights since last year and it has been receiving rave reviews.

Premium Comfort Class offers your customers a new option between Economy and Business Class on intercontinental KLM flights. The seat provides an additional 3” inches in recline and nearly 7 additional inches of legroom versus Economy. The separate cabin exudes a calming atmosphere whether your clients prefer to work or relax. A larger 13.3” HD screen and noise cancelling headsets enhance the viewing experience of the individual video entertainment. On board Wi-Fi is available for those that need to stay connected. And a premium blanket and pillow are provided for those wanting to catch some z’s.

When mealtime comes a dedicated crew will offer a choice of three delightful meals created just for Premium Comfort along with an upgraded selection complimentary wines, beer, or spirits. Customers will also benefit from SkyPriority at the airport and two items of checked baggage. Flying Blue members earn twice as many XP as in Economy Class.

Korean Air's Tentative Financial Results for Q4 2022

Korean Air achieved a fourth fiscal quarter revenue of KRW 3.6068 trillion (2.846 billion USD), a 28% year-on-year increase, following the recovery in passenger demand and steady cargo profit. The airline recorded an operating profit of KRW 520.1 billion (410.4 million USD), a 26% decrease year-on-year (read more).

Virgin Atlantic officialy joins SkyTeam

Virgin Atlantic formally joined SkyTeam, the global airline alliance, at a signing ceremony in London on March 2. The move means Virgin Atlantic becomes SkyTeam’s first and only UK member airline, enhancing the alliance’s transatlantic network and services to and from Heathrow and Manchester airports.

Virgin Atlantic customers will now benefit from a consistent, seamless customer experience, across 1,000 global destinations in over 170 countries. Customers can conveniently book every SkyTeam member flight on a single ticket, checking in with baggage just once through to their final destination.

Connecting Monterrey with Mexico and the U.S.

In 2022, Aeromexico strengthened its operations in Monterrey by relaunching the routes to Guadalajara (GDL), San Luis Potosi (SLP), Bajio (BJX) and Queretaro (QRO) in the Domestic (Mexico) market, as well as to Detroit (DTW) and Los Angeles (LAX) in the United States, thus reiterating its commitment to connect this key destination with Mexico and the United States (learn more).

LATAM Airlines Launches New Route from Bogota to Orlando

LATAM Airlines Colombia will expand its international operation by launching new daily service between Bogota and Orlando on July 1. The new route is the latest addition to the Delta and LATAM joint venture that was approved in Sept. 2022. The Bogota – Orlando route is the second one LATAM Colombia will offer between Colombia and the U.S. in addition to daily service currently offered from Bogota to Miami (learn more).

WestJet Increases Calgary Capacity in 2023

WestJet recently announced its 2023 summer Dreamliner routes from its home base of Calgary, unveiling Tokyo as its first destination in Asia. WestJet is also enhancing connectivity between Western Canada and Europe with new service from Calgary to Barcelona and Edinburgh, along with increased frequencies on existing European routes (learn more).
