FAQs: Trusted Traveler
Q: Can foreign citizens participate in TSA Pre✓?
A: Foreign citizens must meet specific citizenship/residency requirements. CBP has entered into arrangements with partner countries to facilitate travel. Additional information regarding these arrangements are available on the CBP website.
Q: Does the name on a customer's airline reservation have to match the name on their application?
A: Yes. The Secure Flight name submitted in a customer's airline reservation must be an exact match to the name they provided on their application. If they use a frequent flyer account or online travel profile, they must ensure their name is properly saved.
Q: A customer's personal information has changed. How can they update their information so they can continue to receive TSA Pre✓?
A: Members of the TSA Pre✓ Application Program can call 855-347-8371 weekdays, between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. ET, for assistance with a service or to make changes to their name, address, or other information contained in their records. They may also submit an inquiry online for general inquiries only.
