Your travelers flying via New York City and Boston can expect continued upgrades and expansions at all three of Delta’s local hubs – JFK, LGA and BOS – this year.

Over the past decade, Delta has invested more than $12 billion in its airport hubs across the country, cementing Delta’s commitment to modernize and transform the travel experience with new or upgraded facilities that are comfortable, easy to navigate and part of an effortlessly connected journey for your travelers.

DELTA AT NEW YORK–JFK 

Delta’s latest $1.5 billion expansion project at New York-JFK broke ground in December 2021, and the airline and its partners at the Port Authority and JFK International Air Terminal have been working quickly to deliver an even more elevated experience for your travelers.  

In mid-January, Delta officially consolidated all its operations in Terminal 4, with 10 new gates now open on Concourse A, which boasts modern, spacious seating areas and upgraded restrooms, with elevated concessions soon to follow. 

To help your travelers get on their way quicker, Delta’s updated check-in and baggage drop area utilizes the latest technology to improve efficiency during busy travel times, and features the following enhancements:  

• Delta’s signature digital backwall with up-to-date gate information
• Self-service check-in kiosks 
• Enhanced bag drop locations  

And there’s more to come once Delta’s Concourse B expansion is completed early this fall. The newly expanded concourse will soon feature 28 gates that can accommodate various aircraft types, an expanded security checkpoint, baggage claim area and new restrooms.  

Your travelers with Delta Sky Club® access can look forward to an all-new, nearly 14,000-square-foot location opening on T4’s Concourse A this summer, with planned seating for over 200 guests. To serve your travelers in Concourse A in the interim, a Delta Sky Club Express location is now open, providing beverage service along with quick grab-and-go options. Delta’s Club in Concourse B remains open as well. 

JFK will also be the first airport to host an exclusive lounge for your most premium travelers, with the Club set to open in early 2024. The first-of-its-kind lounge will be located adjacent to Terminal 4’s main security checkpoint and measure approximately 36,000 square feet – making it the largest in the Delta Sky Club network. Your travelers flying in Delta One can expect a personalized, dedicated level of service when they visit this new Club, as Delta levels up its lounge experience.

DELTA AT NEW YORK–LGA

Delta opened its state-of-the-art Terminal C at New York-LGA last June and continues work to complete the two remaining concourses by the end of 2024.  

The first four gates in the third new concourse opened to customers last October, while the first four gates in the fourth and final concourse will open later this fall. New walkways connecting the arrivals and departures hall directly to the new concourses will open in advance of summer 2024, creating ever more efficient journeys through the airport as construction wraps up. 

Once complete, Terminal C will span 1.3 million square feet with 37 gates across four concourses. The optimized terminal will better deliver the speed and efficiency your New York travelers need, with up-to-date technologies like hands-free bag drop, self-service check-in and facial matching screening capabilities enabling seamless airport navigation.   

DELTA AT BOSTON–BOS

New routes, a new Club and more in 2023 are in store for your travelers flying Delta via Boston. Delta is growing as Boston’s (BOS) leading global airline, building its presence to become a premier hub and international gateway.

Delta currently operates around 150 peak day departures to 56 destinations from BOS, serving each of Boston’s 20 most popular domestic markets nonstop.

Coming late summer 2023, Delta’s new Sky Club in Boston Logan International’s E Concourse will add nearly 21,000 square feet of premium space to Delta’s lounge portfolio, with planned seating for over 400 guests. The Club will replace the temporary Delta Sky Club Express location currently in use while the lounge is being built.

Additionally, Delta is adding key long haul, transcontinental west markets from Boston to Denver (DEN), Las Vegas (LAS), San Francisco (SFO), and Los Angeles (LAX) this summer by adding more frequencies to these markets and competitive onboard offerings with the state-of-the-art A321neo. This growth increases travel flexibility and convenience for your travelers flying via Boston.
